Answer the question before they ask it

Domestic electrical work in England is covered by Part P of the Building Regulations, and more homeowners now know to ask whether you can certify your own work. A website that answers that up front, with your registration shown clearly, saves a lot of calls that go nowhere.

Landlords are a steady source of work too. Private landlords in England need an electrical safety report at least every five years, and a clear page about EICRs brings in repeat business that does not depend on word of mouth.

What an electrician’s site needs

5 things, in the order your customers look for them. The phone shows each one on an electrician site.

  1. 01

    Your registration up front

A competent person scheme such as NICEIC or NAPIT, shown where people look.

  2. 02

    Each service on its own

Rewires, consumer units, fault finding, EV chargers and EICRs, each described so you are found for the job.

  3. 03

    A page for landlords

What an EICR involves, how often it is needed and how to book one.

  4. 04

Call-outs that work on a phone

If you take emergency work, a tap-to-call number at the top of every page.

  5. 05

    The areas you cover

Towns named, so local searches find you rather than a directory.

Fixed prices, published up front

Half to start, half when you are happy for it to go live, and your deposit back if you do not like the first version. No VAT to add, the words are written for you, I do not charge for hosting (if that ever changes, you get three months’ notice and a free move to your own accounts) and the domain is in your name.

Questions before you start

Anything else, ask me directly and you will have an answer the same working day.

Do I need a page for every service?

Not always. Starter puts everything on one page and suits a sole trader starting out. Once you want to be found for EV chargers or EICRs specifically, Standard or Premium gives those their own space.

Can you set up my Google Business Profile?

Yes. Every package connects it, and setting one up properly from scratch is an add-on.

Ready when you are.

Tell me what the business does. You get a fixed price and a live date in the first conversation, before any work starts.

Available now. You speak directly to the person building your site.

A flat-lay of everyday things from many small businesses: a cup of coffee, yellow tulips, hairdressing scissors and a comb, a dog collar and lead, nail polish, a tape measure, a paintbrush, a car key, a cleaning spray, a house key and a small potted plant
