Play to what makes you independent

Independent practices compete with large groups that have big marketing budgets. What an independent has is a team people know, and care that feels personal.

A website that shows the real people, explains the services in plain words and makes registering a new pet easy plays to that strength, and takes pressure off reception at the same time.

Illustrative photographs, not a real business.

What a practice site needs

5 things, in the order your customers look for them. The phone shows each one on a vet site.

  1. 01

    Register a new pet online

A simple form that collects what reception needs before the first visit.

  2. 02

    Out-of-hours details

Where to go and who to call at night, on the first screen, because that is what worried owners look for.

  3. 03

    Services in plain words

Vaccinations, neutering, dental care and more, each explained briefly.

  4. 04

    The team

People choose a practice partly on who they will see. Photographs and short introductions help.

  5. 05

    Accreditations shown

Such as the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, if you are part of it.

Fixed prices, published up front

Half to start, half when you are happy for it to go live, and your deposit back if you do not like the first version. No VAT to add, the words are written for you, I do not charge for hosting (if that ever changes, you get three months’ notice and a free move to your own accounts) and the domain is in your name.

Questions before you start

Anything else, ask me directly and you will have an answer the same working day.

Can clients book appointments?

I can link to or embed the booking system you already use, so clients book the way your reception already works.

Which package suits a practice?

Most need Standard or Premium: separate pages for services, the team and registering, with room for practical information that changes.

Ready when you are.

Tell me what the business does. You get a fixed price and a live date in the first conversation, before any work starts.

Available now. You speak directly to the person building your site.

A flat-lay of everyday things from many small businesses: a cup of coffee, yellow tulips, hairdressing scissors and a comb, a dog collar and lead, nail polish, a tape measure, a paintbrush, a car key, a cleaning spray, a house key and a small potted plant
